From the box office success of “Michael Jackson’s This is It” to his rank as the third top-earning dead celebrity on Forbes’ list, it has become clear that paying homage to the posthumous reign of the King of Pop can really rake in some cash. There have been all kinds of strange fan art and home-made memorabilia popping up on websites like Etsy but also mass produced oddities like MJ packaging tape and air-fresheners. Over the next week or so I will be posting some of the best and wackiest of these tributes.
I thought I’d start with this great stop-motion dance-battle video by the creatively talented Patrick Boivin in which MJ goes up against Mr. Bean:
A pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel in his pants, so the bartender asks him about it. The pirate replies, “Arrr, I know, It’s driving me nuts.”
